Today we're launching AribaTax, Indiana's property data platform.
We've built the most comprehensive Indiana property dataset available anywhere, combining parcel geometry, assessment records, building characteristics, sales history, and risk overlays into a single platform that serves 10 different products.
The Problem We're Solving
Indiana has 3.7 million property parcels spread across 92 counties. Each county has its own assessor, its own data systems, and its own way of making information available. If you need property data — whether you're a homeowner checking your assessment, a developer building an app, or an investor analyzing deals — you're stuck navigating a fragmented landscape of county websites, state portals, and federal data sources.
We built AribaTax to change that.
What We've Built
The Data Layer
Our data pipeline collects and processes:
- Parcel geometry for all 3.7M parcels from the Indiana Geographic Information Office
- Statewide assessment data from the DLGF gateway file
- Building characteristics from 39 county CAMA systems (Beacon, Elevate, and self-hosted)
- Sales records from state and county sources
This data is normalized, enriched, and served through a unified API.
10 Products
We've built 10 products on top of this data layer, each serving a different segment of Indiana's property ecosystem:
- Developer API — RESTful API with TypeScript and Python SDKs
- Tax Appeal Automation — Identify over-assessments and auto-file Form 130 appeals
- Insurance Underwriting Data — Property risk profiles for P&C carriers
- Solar & Home Services Leads — Qualified lead lists for contractors
- Agricultural Land Analytics — Farmland valuations and transition zone detection
- Assessment Equity Audits — IAAO-compliant equity reports for county assessors
- Real Estate Investor Tools — List stacking, deal analysis, and tax lien data
- AI-Powered Valuation — Indiana-specific AVMs with SHAP explainability
- White-Label Partnerships — Embed property data under your brand
- Consumer Property Lookup — Free property search for all 92 counties
Why Indiana First
We're starting with Indiana for a reason. Deep specialization in a single state lets us offer more complete data than any national provider. We know Indiana's assessment methodology, we've built adapters for its specific county systems, and we understand the local market nuances that national datasets miss.
Multi-state expansion is on the roadmap, but we believe in getting one state right before scaling.
What's Next
We're actively building out data coverage and product features. Upcoming work includes:
- Sales data integration from the Indiana Department of Revenue
- Property card image extraction from county systems
- Enhanced AI valuation models by county and property class
- Additional county CAMA integrations
